I bought Dave's EOS Rebel T3's Field Guide when I first entered DSLR photography about 2 1/2 years ago. Now, owning a full-frame Canon 6D, I eagerly purchased this one, too. I am not disappointed! I find it a great summary and go-to guide for my 6D. I have read and (somewhat) assimilated about 2/3 of this book, as I do not yet own a flash (it's enough for me right now to just master the camera!), nor do I expect to do much videotaping. So I did skip parts that, as of now, are not yet applicable to how I use my 6D. I found Dave's explanations very lucid, organized and understandable. (It's just so much for me to ingest; there are almost TOO many choices on the 6D for me to consider.) But Dave has done an excellent job organizing the information, making it easy for me to review, access and use. And its size makes it very handy, of course, to pack in your bag and take out in the field. Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to others. (I would call myself, just fyi, a seriously eager amateur photographer who has had some photo shows, some sales and some lower level awards in photo contests. I am not a pro with a lot of expensive equipment.)
