The book contains some truly interesting material. However, the title and information on Amazon lead us to believe that this is "The Works of Francis Bacon". In fact, it is Volume XI, and what it contains are avowedly the "Minor Latin Works". So, unless you know Latin (there is no translation), you need not even trouble thinking about it.
