David Busch's Digital Photography Bucket List: 100 Great Digital Photos You Must Take Before You Die (David Busch's Digital Photography Guides) Details
Review "David Busch has provided a perfect smorgasbord because you can nibble it here and there and pick it up later for another, maybe larger bit. The book's concept presents categories of images along with wonderful examples provided by members of the Cleveland Photographic Society through a competition designed to inspire you to create your own personal bucket list. It shows you what can be done with such abstract concepts as capturing the human spirit, special moments, creatures great and small, and others. Images are presented in a landscape format two-page spread with the photo alongside accompanying text and the photographer's name and portrait. It's all enhanced by Busch's lucid text and excellent design and reproduction." - Joe Farace, Shutterbug Magazine's Best Books of 2010: Digital Imaging Read more About the Author With more than a million books in print, David D. I'm impressed with this book!As photographers, we sometimes find that what we like to call a specialty has actually become a rut - and we need to challenge ourselves to shoot new subjects and use new techniques. This book helps me want to break out of my comfort zone - and shows me how in a friendly, straight-forward and non-threatening way. Sections are logically arranged and the photos are all wonderful examples of a particular theme, providing a jumping-off point to encourage me to explore my own creativity. The book not only presents the photo itself, but also the photographer's motivation, the conditions s/he faced in order to capture the image and the specific techniques used to present it - both through the lens and in any post-processing.As in all David Busch photography guides I've read, this book is presented in a concise yet thorough format - good information wrapped in an accessible, enjoyable read. A nice addition to this photographer's library!
